River Nore - Monday, 7 July 2003
John Flynn reports that at the end of May on the River Nore compared to the previous week, fishing has been described as quiet. On Bank Holiday Monday, two salmon were caught at the back of the bridge (Brownsbarn) by Luke Boyle and Paddy Dunne. Elsewhere on this fishery, five other salmon were caught in the past week. Meanwhile, anglers reported that fresh fish were passing through. Water levels were rising due to very heavy rain.
